اجتمعت ريم الحجاجرة ، مديرة "نساء الشمس" (WOS) مع أدا كولاو ، عمدة مدينة برشلونة خلال زيارتها لإسبانيا. مثلت ريم جمعية نساء الشمس وعملها. كما تحدثت عن النساء الفلسطينيات ورفعت أصواتهن. حيث قدمت تصورًا شاملاً لواقع المرأة الفلسطينية التي تعيش في ظل الصراع والقمع المستمر. تناولت آدا كولاو قضية المرأة بقولها: "لقد حان الوقت لسماع أصوات النساء ، اللائي كن دائمًا جزءًا نشطًا من بناء عمليات السلام في جميع أنحاء العالم ، ولكن في الوقت نفسه جزء مستبعد من العمليات الرسمية. من الضروري أن يتغير هذا وأن يتم إعطاؤهم المساحة التي يستحقونها " Reem Al-Hajajreh, director of Women of the Sun (WOS) has met with Ada Colau, the mayor of Barcelona city during her visit to Spain. Reem represented Women of the Sun Association and its work. She also talked about Palestinian women and raised up their voices; where she provided a comprehensive perception of Palestinian women reality living in ongoing conflict and oppression. Ada Colau addressed the issue of women by saying that: “It is time for women's voices to be heard, who have always been an active part of building peace processes around the world, but at the same time an excluded part of formal processes. It is urgent that this changes and they are given the space they deserve”.
