Women of the Sun, in cooperation with Al-Jadira Association for Development and Advancement, organized a special women’s session with plant scientist Dr. Jowan, addressing a range of important environmental and agricultural topics.

The session highlighted the importance of sustainable agriculture and the vital role of women in protecting the environment and strengthening local production, contributing to food security and more sustainable communities.

This activity was generously funded by the Representative office of Slovenia in Ramallah, as part of joint efforts to enhance environmental awareness among women and build their capacities in the agricultural sector, contributing to their economic and social empowerment.

قامت جمعية نساء الشمس بالتعاون مع جمعية الجديرة للتنمية والتطوير بعقد لقاءٍ نسوي مميز مع عالمة النبات الدكتورة جوان، حيث تناول اللقاء مجموعة من المواضيع البيئية والزراعية الهامة.

تم خلال اللقاء تسليط الضوء على أهمية الزراعة المستدامة، ودور المرأة الحيوي في حماية البيئة وتعزيز الإنتاج المحلي، بما يساهم في تحقيق الأمن الغذائي وبناء مجتمعات أكثر استدامة.

وقد نُفِّذ هذا اللقاء بدعم كريم من ممثلية سلوفينيا في رام الله، في إطار الجهود المشتركة لتعزيز الوعي البيئي لدى النساء وبناء قدراتهن في المجال الزراعي، بما يسهم في تمكينهن اقتصاديًا ومجتمعيًا.
