Threads of Hope… I Draw My Dream and My Child’s Dream

The Women of the Sun Foundation carried out a participatory art activity that brought mothers together with their children at Al-Zohour Shelter Center in Al-Nuseirat, with the participation of 4 mothers and 18 children. The activity aimed to enhance psychological support and strengthen family bonds.

The activity included free drawing sessions where children expressed their simple dreams, while mothers joined their children in drawing and writing words filled with hope, creating a safe space that combined art with emotional release.

The event helped reduce stress, strengthened the sense of safety and belonging, and gave both mothers and children the opportunity to transform their feelings into paintings full of hope.

At Women of the Sun, we continue to create supportive spaces that restore the colors of life despite the harsh conditions.
