Women of the Sun association organized in Ramallah the first training as the launch of Phase Two of the UNSCR 1325 project, as part of a series of workshops across West Bank cities, titled

“Voices of UN Security Council Resolution 1325: Women Leading Protection and Participation”,

funded by B&HOPE and the Municipality of Geneva, and facilitated by Dr. Hussein Al-Deek.

The workshop aimed to raise awareness of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325 and highlight the role of women in decision-making, peacebuilding, and protection during and after conflicts.

The training concluded with key recommendations emphasizing the importance of empowering Palestinian women and strengthening their active participation at all levels of decision-making.

We encourage women to join and continue participating in the upcoming workshops in Ramallah and across other West Bank cities, believing that their voices are the foundation for meaningful change.
