Women of the Sun and Oasis Center Explore Cooperation to Promote Disability Inclusion

Women of the Sun Association welcomed delegation from the Oasis Center for Persons with Disabilities, led by the Center’s Director, Ms. Rula Khair, along with several staff members. The visit aimed to strengthen mutual understanding between the two associations, exchange information about their programs and activities, and explore opportunities for future collaboration.

During the meeting, both associations agreed to integrate a number of persons with disabilities into Women of the Sun Association’s current and upcoming projects. This step reflects the Association’s commitment to its strategy of promoting inclusion, ensuring meaningful participation, and empowering persons with disabilities as active members of their communities.

Women of the Sun Association believes that building a more inclusive and equitable society begins with creating equal opportunities for everyone. Through strategic partnerships with national associations and institutions, the Association continues to advance sustainable development, social inclusion, and community empowerment for all.

استقبلت جمعية نساء الشمس وفدًا من مركز الواحة لذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة، برئاسة مديرة المركز السيدة رولا خير وعدد من أعضاء الطاقم، في زيارة هدفت إلى تعزيز التعارف بين المؤسستين والاطلاع على برامج وأنشطة كل منهما، وبحث آفاق التعاون المشترك بما يخدم الفئات الأكثر احتياجًا.

وخلال اللقاء، تم الاتفاق على إدماج عدد من الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة في المشاريع الحالية والقادمة التي تنفذها جمعية نساء الشمس، في خطوة تعكس التزام الجمعية باستراتيجيتها الهادفة إلى تعزيز الشمول والدمج المجتمعي، وضمان مشاركة الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة في مختلف المبادرات والبرامج التنموية.

وتؤمن جمعية نساء الشمس بأن بناء مجتمع أكثر عدالة وتماسكًا يبدأ بإتاحة الفرص المتكافئة للجميع، وتعزيز الشراكات مع المؤسسات الوطنية بما يسهم في تمكين جميع فئات المجتمع وإبراز دورها الفاعل في مسيرة التنمية والتغيير.
