As part of Women of the Sun’s efforts to raise women’s awareness of their rights, an awareness session on UN Security Council Resolution 1325 was held with 21 women at Nuseirat Shelter Center. The session covered the resolution’s key pillars, which are participation, protection, prevention, relief and recovery, and their relevance to women’s needs in shelters. It also highlighted the importance of women’s participation in decisions affecting their lives.
