The workshop explored medicinal plants across the Palestinian Territories and the region’s rich ethnobotanical heritage. It highlighted the threats facing these plants, including irresponsible foraging and unsustainable harvesting practices, while emphasizing the importance of conserving medicinal plant biodiversity and preserving traditional knowledge for future generations.

نظّمت جمعية نساء الشمس الورشة الرابعة ضمن سلسلة «ورشات التوعية البيئية: سد الفجوة بين العلم والسياسات»، بدعم من مؤسسة هانس زايدل.

سلّطت الورشة الضوء على النباتات الطبية في الأراضي الفلسطينية، وغنى الإرث المعرفي الشعبي المرتبط باستخدامها، إلى جانب التهديدات التي تواجه هذه النباتات، بما في ذلك القطف العشوائي وغير المسؤول والممارسات غير المستدامة، وأهمية الحفاظ على هذا التنوع الحيوي وصون المعرفة التقليدية المرتبطة به.

نحو وعي بيئي أعمق، وممارسات مستدامة تضمن حماية نباتاتنا الطبية وإرثنا الطبيعي والمعرفي للأجيال القادمة.
