As part of the Palestinian Heritage Week activities

As part of the Palestinian Heritage Week activities, Women of the Sun Association , in collaboration with Sawsanah Faqou’a Association, organized a special cultural event. Mothers brought their children to celebrate Palestinian identity and strengthen their connection to our rich heritage.
‏The event featured a variety of activities, including traditional embroidery of designs inspired by our deep-rooted culture, and the sharing of popular folk tales that carry the stories of our ancestors and the spirit of the land. A traditional Palestinian breakfast was also served, offering participants a taste of the authentic flavors of our heritage.
‏In a touching moment of reflection, mothers lit candles in memory of the martyred women of Gaza, honoring their sacrifices and expressing solidarity with their enduring spirit.
‏This event stands as a living example of the importance of preserving Palestinian heritage and passing it down through generations, keeping the spirit of identity alive.

ضمن فعاليات أسبوع التراث الفلسطيني، نظمت مؤسسة نساء الشمس بالتعاون مع جمعية سوسنة فقوعة نشاطًا تراثيًا مميزًا، حيث جلبت الأمهات أطفالهن للاحتفاء بالهوية الفلسطينية وتعزيز الارتباط بالتراث.
تضمن النشاط مجموعة من الفعاليات المميزة، حيث طرز المشاركون رسومات مستوحاة من تراثنا العريق، واستمعوا إلى قصص شعبية تنبض بحكايات الأجداد والأرض. كما تم تقديم فطور فلسطيني تقليدي، ليكمل تجربة التعرف على نكهات وأصالة الموروث الثقافي.
كما كانت الأمهات جزءًا من لحظة تأمل، حيث أضاءن الشموع على أرواح شهيدات غزة، تخليدًا لهن ولتعبير عن تضامننا مع تضحياتهن.
يُعد هذا النشاط مثالًا حيًا على أهمية الحفاظ على التراث الفلسطيني وتوارثه، وتواصل الأجيال في حمل رسالة الهوية.
