Empowering Women in Jenin through “Voices of 1325” Workshops to تعزيز Political Participation

As part of the “Voices of 1325” workshop series implemented by Women of the Sun Association across different areas of the West Bank, a series of training workshops was held in Jenin, with the support of City of Geneva and B&Hope, aiming to strengthen women’s participation in public and political life.
The workshops included
An introduction to UN Security Council Resolution 1325
Understanding the electoral and parliamentary system
Developing effective skills for designing and drafting electoral programs
These activities come as part of the ongoing efforts of Women of the Sun Association to empower women and strengthen their role in participation and decision-making, contributing to building an active female presence in various social and political spheres.

ضمن سلسلة ورشات “أصوات 1325” التي تنفذها جمعية نساء الشمس في مختلف مناطق الضفة الغربية، عُقدت سلسلة من الورش التدريبية في جنين، بدعم من بلدية جنيف وB&Hope، بهدف تعزيز مشاركة النساء في الحياة العامة والسياسية.
وتضمنت الورش التدريبية:
التعريف بقرار مجلس الأمن 1325
فهم النظام الانتخابي والبرلماني
تطوير مهارات إعداد وصياغة البرامج الانتخابية بشكل فعّال
وتأتي هذه الأنشطة ضمن جهود جمعية نساء الشمس لتمكين النساء، وتعزيز دورهن في المشاركة وصنع القرار، بما يسهم في بناء حضور نسوي فاعل في مختلف مواقع التأثير المجتمعي والسياسي.
