Empowering Women Through Environmental Awareness and Native Plant Preservation

As part of the second phase of the Environmental Project- Empowering Women and Securing the Future, today at the Orthodox School of Bethany we conducted an environmental workshop focused on the importance of native Palestinian flora.

Participants learned about preserving native Palestinian plants and planted seedlings of wild mint, oregano, and common sage, highlighting the role of women in protecting the environment and building more sustainable communities.

This activity was funded by the Representative Office of Slovenia in Ramallah.

كجزء من المرحلة الثانية من المشروع البيئي “تمكين النساء وتأمين المستقبل”، قمنا اليوم في المدرسة الأرثوذكسية في العيزرية بتنفيذ ورشة عمل بيئية ركّزت على أهمية النباتات الفلسطينية الأصيلة.

وتعرّف المشاركون على أهمية الحفاظ على النباتات الفلسطينية المحلية، وشاركوا في زراعة شتلات النعناع البري والمردقوش والميرمية الطبية، تأكيداً على دور النساء في حماية البيئة وبناء مجتمعات أكثر استدامة.

وقد تم تمويل هذا النشاط من قبل مكتب تمثيل جمهورية سلوفينيا في رام الله.
