From Chicago – Reem Al Hajajreh, Founder & Chairwoman of Women of the Sun

Reem Al Hajajreh met with supporters and community leaders to share the story of Women of the Sun, our work with Palestinian women, and our vision for women’s leadership and participation in decision-making.

A visit to the Obama Presidential Center added a meaningful moment of reflection and inspiration.

As Barack Obama’s team reminded us: “Hard things are hard.”

And we know that deeply. Building women-led movements and creating opportunities for women to lead is not easy- but difficult does not mean impossible.

We keep going. We keep building. We never give up.
