From Learning to Action: Empowering Children Through Environmental Education

We are proud to see the real impact of the first phase of our Slovenia project, implemented by Women of the Sun.
Starting from Saturday and continuing throughout the week, participants have moved from learning to action by leading a comprehensive winter camp for children focused on environmental awareness, hands-on learning, and community engagement.
Through creative activities, children learn how to reuse plastic and metal waste and transform it into innovative accessories, promoting a culture of recycling and creative thinking.
Trainers also deepened their understanding of children’s right to a sustainable future and linked environmental education to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), highlighting the project as a long-term investment in people, the environment, and education.

نفخر برؤية الأثر الحقيقي للمرحلة الأولى من مشروعنا في سلوفينيا، والذي تم تطبيقه من قبل جمعية نساء الشمس.
فقد انتقل المشاركون من مرحلة التعلّم إلى التطبيق العملي، حيث بدأوا منذ يوم السبت بتنفيذ مخيم شتوي متكامل للأطفال، ويستمر طوال الأسبوع، ويركّز على التوعية البيئية، والتعلّم التطبيقي، والمشاركة المجتمعية.
يتعلّم الأطفال من خلال أنشطة إبداعية كيفية إعادة استخدام مخلفات البلاستيك والمعادن وتحويلها إلى إكسسوارات مبتكرة، مما يعزّز ثقافة إعادة التدوير والتفكير الإبداعي.
كما عمّق المدرّبون فهمهم لحق الأطفال في مستقبل مستدام، وربطوا التعليم البيئي بأهداف التنمية المستدامة، بما يؤكّد أن المشروع استثمار طويل الأمد في الإنسان والبيئة والتعليم.
