‏Reem Al-Hajajreh, Director of Women of the Sun Association, has been awarded the Catalonia International Prize , which is presented annually to recognize individuals who have made significant contributions to the development of cultural, scientific, or human values.

‏The award was presented by Salvador Illa Roca, President of the Generalitat de Catalunya, at the Palau de la Generalitat, the Catalan government’s headquarters, on Thursday evening, in recognition of Reem and Women of the Sun’s efforts in politically and economically empowering women in Palestine.

‏This prestigious prize highlights Women of the Sun’s commitment to social and cultural leadership and celebrates their impactful work in Palestinian and global communities.

تسلمت ريم الحجاجرة، مديرة جمعية نساء الشمس، جائزة كاتالونيا الدولية ، التي تُمنح سنويًا تقديرًا للأشخاص الذين قدموا إسهامات مميزة في تطوير القيم الثقافية أو العلمية أو الإنسانية.

تم تسليم الجائزة من قبل سلفادور إيلا روكا، رئيس حكومة كاتالونيا ، في Palau de la Generalitat، مقر حكومة كاتالونيا، مساء يوم الخميس، وذلك تقديرًا لجهود ريم ونساء الشمس في تمكين النساء سياسيًا واقتصاديًا في فلسطين.
