Women of The Sun Association organized an awareness workshop as part of the Digital Uplift project funded by the Government of Ireland, in cooperation with the Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce & Industry and with the participation of representatives from the VAT Department.

The session addressed the requirements for VAT registration for small and emerging businesses, particularly home-based and digital projects, clarifying which categories are required to register and how to properly issue tax invoices in line with the legal framework.

The workshop also highlighted the importance of Chamber membership and the benefits it provides in business networking, participation in economic events and bazaars, and expanding market reach to support business growth and sustainability.

This activity comes as part of Women of The Sun’s efforts to empower women entrepreneurs and enhance their readiness to manage successful projects within the digital economy.
